Mystery books are by far my favorite books to read. Ones that have an intriguing plot and a great set of characters that come alive when the book is read. The page turning classic is always the best. The best mystery book is a hard to put down action packed sequel of events.
    Mystery books are varied with the different types, thrillers, suspense, adventure, supernatural, horror and paranormal and of course there are the famous detective fictions like Sherlock Holmes and Mickey Spillane. I have lately been reading books like crazy. I can not seem to get enough of them. Most of the book's authors have newer releases, with locations I can relate to. It seems if they take place in a location that I am familiar with, than I am more likely to feel connected to it story. 
    I actually enjoy a mystery book that has alot of action that has a little bit of romanace going on between the characters. I have read three of New York Times Best Selling Author, Stella Cameron's books and they are quite entertaining. There's "A Marked Man", "Target", and "A Cold Day in Hell". All three are labeled as Bayou books, in which they take place in Louisiana. All three have great plots and great characters. They are great page turners.
   Another great New York Times Best Selling Author that I have been reading is Heather Graham. So far I've read "Blood Red" and "The Seance". I have "The Dead Room" waiting to be read.
